Roadside Cover
Autonational’s ‘Roadside Cover’ is our entry point ‘Emergency Roadside Assistance‘ level of cover. This policy offers the basic elements of Roadside Rescue which will attempt to fix your car by the roadside, where possible, else you’ll have a tow to safety. With this policy, you can feel safe in the knowledge that any legal driver of the vehicle will benefit from the following roadside rescue cover benefits throughout the whole of the U.K.
Please note that Roadside Rescue (Recovery) is only possible to a garage within 20 miles of breaking down and if the vehicle can’t be fixed at the roadside.

What's Included?
Call Out/Recovery Up To 20 Miles
Should you suffer a breakdown and require Roadside Assistance, we will arrange for a recovery agent to assist you in any Roadside Emergency breakdown that is further than a 1/4 mile radius from your home. Should your vehicle not be able to be fixed at the roadside we will arrange for the vehicle and up to five passengers to be transported to a garage within a 20 mile radius.
Vehicle Cover
Autonational offers Vehicle based Breakdown Cover, so the vehicle itself is fully covered, not a individual driver, meaning any legal driver using the car at the time of needing Roadside Assistance will benefit from the cover provided by an Autonational breakdown policy. This policy could be perfect for families with kids of driving age and/or flat mates sharing a pool car.
Loss Of Keys
This package covers the eventuality of you misplacing your ignition keys and needing Roadside Assistance. One call to our call centre will start the ball rolling…But please note, cover does not include cost of replacement keys or locks.
Emergency Message Service
A Breakdown is stressful enough without worrying about missed appointments are friends or family who may be worrying about you. Our call centre will relay any such messages for you so loved ones will know you are safe.
Accident, Theft And Vandalism
If you’re considering buying Cheap Breakdown Cover that you may have found elsewhere on the Internet, you may wish to check if they include this feature, that forms part of the Autonational offering, as standard. In addition to roadside breakdown assistance, an Autonational policy covers you if your vehicle is rendered immobile as a result of an accident, theft or vandalism.
50% Discount For Second Car
In the modern world, it’s likely that households have access to more than one vehicle between them. But we don’t think you should have to pay full price for a 2nd policy with us, so you could be eligible for a 50% discount to cover a second car registered at the same address as the primary vehicle when both policies are purchased at the same time.
Vulnerable Person(s) Priority
Our call centre will always prioritise customers who have broken down or whom need our assistance if they are vulnerable or if they feel vulnerable. Mention to the call handler if this applies to you and we can even supply the name of the allocated agent who will be coming to your rescue.
